NorthC is seeking a senior Project Management Leader to standardize project governance across the DACH region and oversee end-to-end management of data center builds. The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, blueprint maintenance, and strong collaboration with country directors, sales, and operations.

The ideal candidate drives best practices, ensures compliance and security, and mentors a high-performing PM team to deliver world-class data center projects.

Qualifikationen

Aufgaben

• Oversee management of all projects at NorthC and ensure proper processes.
• Define and lead multiple projects including brown-/greenfield sites and handover.
• Scope integrations and align leadership on vision, approach, timeline.
• Build relationships with power companies and government authorities.
• Support due diligence and post-acquisition integration activities.
• Maintain NorthC blueprint documents and ensure country alignment.
• Collaborate with MDs, sales and customer services to deliver service.
• Lead and mentor a high-performing PM team; drive continuous improvement.
• Ensure designs and constructions comply with standards and security.

Your mission

Project Management Leadership

• Maintain and enhance a standardized way of working for managing projects across the DACH Region;
• Stay abreast of industry trends, new and emerging technologies and best practices in data center project management, leveraging insights to enhance our service offerings and maintain a competitive edge.

Overseeing the Management of Projects

• End-responsible for all projects managed at NorthC. Ensure the project managers follow the right processes and decisions are made at the proper level in case of any deviations/escalations;
• Define and lead multiple projects and maintain responsibility for project management, the development of brown-/greenfield sites, implementation and flawless handover to the appropriate stakeholders in the organization;
• Help to scope out integration and align leadership on vision, approach and timeline;
• Build and manage effective relationships with power companies and governmental building authorities;
• Support internal stakeholders throughout the due diligence prior to an acquisition and prepare the integration phase of the post-acquisition process.

Responsible for the NorthC Blueprint

• Maintain and enhance the NorthC blueprint documents and ensures these are up to date;
• Oversee the implementation of the blueprints in alignment with all countries.

Client and Stakeholder Relationships

• Collaborate with the country managing directors, sales and customer services teams to understand client requirements and ensure seamless service delivery;
• Manage relationships at a senior level with partners/vendors.

Team Leadership

• Build, mentor and lead a high-performing project management team, fostering a culture of collboration, accountability and continuous improvement;
• Provide guidance and support to department heads, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

Compliance and Security

• Ensure design and construction comply with industry standards, regulations and security protocols;
• Implement robust security measures to safeguard data center infrastructure and client data.
• Work in adherence to the NorthC compliance rules and guidelines.

Your profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field or equivalent experience;
• Demonstrated relevant experience managing complex data center builds;
• Project management skills: strong understanding of technical builds related to data centers;
• Analytical skills to track and predict trends;
• Skilled in building effective working relationships;
• Must be independent, a self-starter and able to work with cross-country and -functional teams;
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to connect with people at all levels;
• Creative problem-solver;
• A can-do mentality;
• Strong professional communication and presentation skills in both the German and English languages.
