What the job involves

1. You will work closely with the private equity investors and the portfolio company's senior management.
2. You are responsible for analysing and optimizing the company's strategy and direction.
3. You will use a variety of performance improvement tools, including operational best practices, cost control and outsourcing, to maximize the company's value at exit.
4. You will review and optimize operational structures, implementing actions to achieve maximum efficiency.

Who we are looking for

1. You bring significant work experience - you have solid initial training from a strategy consulting firm, ideally with broad experience in operational projects, plus additional experience working within a private equity firm.
2. Additional hands-on industry experience is a definite plus.
3. You have negotiation skills and are a team-player with outstanding project management skills.
4. Willingness to travel 2-3 days a week is necessary.
5. A passion for the automotive industry is an advantage.
6. Native level German and fluent English are required.
