A Director of Sales manages the hotel sales and marketing plans by recommending growth efforts, monitoring progress, and ensuring that the hotel is competitively positioned within the local marketplace.

What will I be doing?

As Director of Sales, you will work closely with the Senior Management Team to drive business needs and expand existing business through promotional efforts and sales channels. You will develop the sales team and foster a high-performing sales environment. Your responsibilities include:

  1. Manage hotel sales and marketing plans to align with business objectives and focus sales efforts across market segments.
  2. Collaborate with the Senior Management Team to identify and support key business areas.
  3. Prepare hotel contracts in accordance with current business and pricing conditions.
  4. Monitor offers, options, and discounts for repeat bookings, working with the Group Coordinator.
  5. Lead and develop the group sales team, participate in hiring, and ensure their success.
  6. Manage forecasting processes with the Revenue Department and prepare relevant reports.
  7. Contribute to the annual Sales and Market Plan, quarterly updates, and hotel budgets; implement strategies to adapt to market changes.
  8. Support development of sales and marketing initiatives and communicate hotel products and services effectively.
  9. Produce timely reports for management and hotel owners.
  10. Present monthly sales activities and contributions to stakeholders.
  11. Coordinate with Reservations and Banqueting Departments to enhance guest experience and sales programs.
  12. Participate in management meetings to develop sales and marketing strategies.
