Director of Religious Education

St. Jerome Parish in Kenner, LA is looking for a full or part-time Director of Religious Education, starting in June or July of 2025.

Applicants should speak English and Spanish and have a college degree in Catholic theology, Catholic religious education, or education, or a related field. They should also have substantial training and/or experience in Catholic catechetics or Catholic youth ministry leadership. Excellent leadership, flexibility, and organizational skills are essential.

Full time (40 hours)
Salary range: $33,000 - $45,000 depending on education, training, and experience.

Part-time salary depends on hours per week.

Responsibilities include overseeing religious education for grades 1-12, organizing First Communion and Confirmation celebrations, and OCIA for children and teens, depending on hours worked.
