As the Director of Product Design at Raisin, you will play a vital role in shaping and elevating our product experiences across all platforms. Key responsibilities include:

1. Design Leadership: Set and champion a clear vision for product design that aligns with company goals and brand values. Lead the team to deliver consistent, high-quality design across the product ecosystem.
2. Team Management: Recruit, develop, and mentor a high-performing product design team. Provide leadership, guidance, and career development support for designers at all levels.
3. Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with product and engineering teams to ensure cohesive and compelling user experiences. Play a strategic role in planning and execution.
4. Design Strategy & Process: Define scalable design processes and systems that foster efficiency, creativity, and accountability. Continuously seek improvements in design delivery and measurement.
5. Quality & Consistency: Maintain high standards of design craft across all outputs. Ensure visual and interaction designs are clear, functional, and aligned with brand guidelines.
6. User Advocacy: Champion user voices through research, data, and empathy. Ensure solutions are inclusive, accessible, and impactful.

Your Profile

We seek a visionary design leader who thrives in a fast-paced fintech environment, balances strategic and hands-on work, and inspires teams to excel.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 10+ years in product design, with at least 5 years in leadership managing design teams at scale
• A strong portfolio demonstrating design excellence, systems thinking, and user-centered problem solving on web and mobile platforms

Knowledge & Experience:

• Proven experience scaling and leading design teams in a tech-driven environment, preferably within fintech or B2C digital services
• Expertise in end-to-end product design, from research to implementation
• Deep understanding of design systems, accessibility, responsive design, and current UI/UX trends
• Strong business acumen to balance user needs with technical and business constraints
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and product cycles
