Job summary

Kenton Black Limited, on behalf of a leading international main contractor, seeks an Operations Director to lead Data Centre project delivery across Germany. Reporting to the Managing Director in Germany, you will provide strategic and operational leadership for a portfolio of 3–5 major projects with annual turnover of €350m–€450m.

You will oversee Project Directors, Project Managers and senior delivery teams, ensuring safe, profitable, on-time, high-quality delivery.

Qualifications

• 20+ years in construction with senior operational leadership positions.
• Proven track record delivering large-scale Data Centre projects.

Job description

I am working with a leading international main contractor and they are currently looking for an experienced Operations Director to lead the delivery of multiple Data Centre projects across Germany.

Reporting directly to the Managing Director in Germany, the Operations Director will provide strategic and operational leadership across a portfolio of 3 to 5 major projects nationally, with an annual turnover of €350m to €450m.

The successful candidate will oversee Project Directors, Project Managers, and senior delivery teams, ensuring that all projects are delivered safely, profitably, on programme, and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Provide overall operational leadership for a portfolio of major projects across Germany.
• Lead, support, and develop Project Directors and senior project teams to ensure consistent delivery excellence.

A minimum 20 years' experience within the construction industry, including significant experience in senior operational leadership positions is required. Proven track record delivering large-scale Data Centre projects is also essential.
