Huntsman Consult has been retained by a specialist Data Centre Consultancy in the UK and US to identify an experienced Project Management Director based in Germany to deliver a total of 160MW in Frankfurt for a well-known developer in the DC Market. These are new build sites in pre-construction phases.

The role is a country lead position with full backing to build out a full-scale operation in Germany. Candidates must be fluent in German and English and have full right to work authority in

Qualifications

• Major programme/mission critical project experience.
• Managing executive level client relationships and leading cross-functional teams on major projects.
• Local knowledge of planning, permitting, design management and requirements.
• Procurement and tendering guidance and coordination with client/consultant specialists to define procurement strategy.
• Coordination with commercial, scheduling, and all specialist consultants on risk management and mitigation.
• Front end experience on new build developments and comfortable at RIBA 2-4.

Huntsman have been retained by a specialist Data Centre Consultancy in the UK and US to identify an experienced Project Management Director based in Germany to deliver a total of 160MW in Frankfurt for a well-known developer in the DC Market. These are new build sites in pre-construction phases.

This firm is already delivering Commercial Management services for the client and have UK and US Teams operating across Project, Programme, Project Controls and Site Selection with an impressive growth model.

They see this opportunity as a \"country lead\" position with the full backing and support of the leadership group to build out a full-scale operation in Germany.

Candidates must be fluent in German and English and have full right to work authority in Germany without sponsorship.

Required Experience

• Major programme/mission critical project experience, preferably with some data centre experience. Managing executive level client relationships and leading cross-functional teams on major projects.
• Local knowledge of planning, permitting, design management and requirements.
• Management and coordination of consultants and design team through the pre-con / development stage.
• Procurement and tendering guidance and coordination with Client/consultant specialists to define procurement strategy.
• Coordination with commercial, scheduling, and all specialist consultants on risk management and mitigation.

It is essential that candidates have front end experience on new build developments and feel comfortable at RIBA 2-4.

Off the back of this appointment, the successful candidate will likely be tasked with putting together a Project Team of 3 to 4 hires for the project.

This role is open to Associate Director / Project Director or Director level candidates with a salary range of €100,000 to €150,000 plus package.
