MAM Gruppe seeks a Director of Group Accounting to steer how accounting is performed across an international corporate group. The role reports to senior group finance leadership and aims to modernise, automate and bring AI into the function.

This strategic leadership position goes beyond pure technical work. You will own consolidated financial statements, drive IFRS compliance, and lead the Accounting CoE while collaborating with auditors, regulators and other finance functions.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of accounting in an international corporation or audit firm statement.
• Proven leadership experience in a similar role.
• Deep knowledge of IFRS financial reporting.
• Strong working knowledge of modern ERP/finance systems.
• Fluent German and English, written and spoken.

Aufgaben

• Own the Group's consolidated financial statements and IFRS-compliant reporting across entities.
• Lead the Center of Excellence Accounting team and set group-wide accounting direction.
• Be main contact for auditors and regulators.
• Serve as internal reference for Controlling, Treasury and Tax on accounting matters.

• Drive automation and digital tools to reduce manual work within the team.

This is a strategic leadership position, not a purely technical one.

The role:

• Own the Group's consolidated financial statements, ensuring accuracy and IFRS compliance across all entities.
• Lead the Center of Excellence Accounting team and set the direction for group-wide accounting practices.
• Act as the main point of contact for auditors and regulators.
• Serve as the internal reference point for Controlling, Treasury and Tax on accounting matters.
• Harmonise accounting processes across group companies and own the Group-wide chart of accounts.
• Drive automation and digital tools to reduce manual work within the team.

What you'll need:

• At least 5 years' experience in accounting within an international corporation or an audit firm.
• Several years' leadership experience in a comparable role.
• In-depth knowledge of international financial reporting under IFRS.
• Good working knowledge of modern ERP/finance systems.
• Fluent German and English, written and spoken.
