Jobtailor is seeking a high-impact senior engineering leader to set technical direction for our US Ticketing platform and modernize a mature, high-velocity system. You will guide architecture, ownership, and platform boundaries while balancing client commitments, reliability, and scalability.

• Strong architectural depth for difficult system and platform decisions.
• Ability to contribute technically through architecture, technical writing, prototyping, debugging, and code.
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted software development.
• Strong point of view on how AI changes engineering practices and the software development lifecycle.
• Experience evolving mature, business-critical systems while continuing to deliver customer value.
• Track record of creating technical strategy from ambiguous product and business problems.
• Experience partnering with senior Product and Design leaders and learning complex customer domains quickly.
• Experience developing Engineering Managers and Staff+ engineers.
• Strong cross-functional leadership, communication, ownership, and consequential decision-making with incomplete information.
• Experience with ticketing, live events, commerce, payments, reservations, inventory, or similarly complex transactional systems is a plus
