The role

We’re searching for an inspirational and highly collaborative Director of Creative Studio to drive our creative output globally. You will lead our Creative Studio, a team of passionate and ambitious brand designers, copywriters, video/visual specialists and producers to deliver breakthrough, on-brand creatives across all of our marketing funnel. Working closely with the US & Europe Brand Directors, you will be instrumental in helping us achieve our mission: to become the household brand for unforgettable travel experiences.

Reporting to the VP Brand & Partnerships, you will be responsible for developing, driving and maintaining a clear and consistent creative point of view for the brand. You’ll develop the brand’s global storytelling and creative development and be responsible for the execution of GetYourGuides’s creatives across all our marketing channels, campaigning and beyond. You will be brand affine, creative with a high sense for creative strategy and ability to execute excellently across touchpoints, no matter the step of the funnel. A natural team builder, you will thrive in fostering an environment where you can build, develop and nurture a team of top notch creative, who consistently deliver for the brand. You understand the power of data to improve your creativity and are open to pioneer new tools and techniques. Comfortable working in a cross-functional environment, you will be a key brand champion, ensuring you develop the creative framework to deliver exciting, effective and on-brand work.

You will:

  • Lead our in-house Creative Studio, developing or overseeing all creative output of the company - from TV spot to landing page.
  • Develop and maintain a clear and consistent brand vision that would come to life in brand campaigns, content and performance marketing, across multiple touchpoints no matter the stage of the funnel.
  • Evolve our creative platform and brand narrative, based on data or business challenges, and create branded stories that breakthrough with our audience.
  • Write insight-led creative briefs and execute marketing campaigns for a range of markets, driving brand awareness, consideration or conversion.
  • Work collaboratively with stakeholders across Marketing channels and UX, to develop a coherent and optimized brand experience.
  • Mentor and grow the creative team and proactively foster their development in soft and hard skills. Set the team up for success.
  • Develop, and refresh brand guidelines according to the brand evolution.
  • Explore and utilize innovative automation tools and generative AI in order to scale creative output.
  • Act as a guiding voice when we work with external agencies to ensure a holistic brand feel.
  • Back up creative decisions with data and testing frameworks to build creative that truly delivers.
  • Be a passionate and inspiring brand champion both internally and externally.

Who you are

  • 10+ years in a senior creative role with experience in both agency and in-house teams.
  • Proven leader, experience managing teams of 10+ people.
  • Demonstrated success planning and executing marketing campaigns.
  • Vast experience in delivering creative solutions across the funnel and optimizing their impact.
  • A thorough understanding of creative strategy, testing roadmaps, customer experience and creative optimisation
  • Comfortable in evolving all our creative disciplines: copywriting, art direction, design, motion, creative operations and production.
  • A solution-driven, collaborative communicator with ability to address constructive feedback - strong at working and influencing in cross functional teams
  • Capable of creating and improving agile processes and automation in order to scale your team’s output. Fosters adoption of new tools and techniques.
  • A passion for both high-level strategic thinking and hands-on creative development
