Here at Brenntag, we are looking for a Director of Controlling to join our Material Science business unit. This role can be based anywhere in Europe.

Job Description:
  • Financial steering & business co-piloting for the Material Science BU, including planning, forecasting, trending, and analysis.
  • Participate in the development and execution of the strategic plan for the Material Science business in EMEA.
  • Drive actions to improve efficiency within BSP Material Science in the region.
  • Prepare and evaluate investment decisions and contract approvals as required.
  • Support and collaborate with non-financial management.
  • Ensure compliance with business procedures, reporting, controls, and risk assessments.
  • Review and analyze working capital to optimize its management.
  • Support M&A activities, including valuation, negotiations, and stakeholder alignment.
Candidate Requirements:
  • Multiple years of experience in an FP&A or Controlling position.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate across business functions.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage workload effectively in a busy environment.
