Zusammenfassung

Ein Unternehmen im Bereich Diagnostik sucht einen Director Medical Affairs für die DACH-Region. In dieser Rolle sind Sie verantwortlich für medizinische Aktivitäten und die Einbindung von Schlüsselpersonen im Gesundheitswesen. Voraussetzung ist ein Medizinstudium mit Spezialisierung auf Infektionskrankheiten sowie Erfahrung im medizinischen und wissenschaftlichen Bereich. Fließende Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse sind erforderlich. Die Möglichkeit zur Reise (bis zu 60%) ist gegeben.

Qualifikationen

  • Assoziiertes medizinisches und wissenschaftliches Wissen.
  • Mindestens 8 Jahre relevante Erfahrung.
  • Bevorzugte zusätzliche Erfahrung in medizinischen Angelegenheiten.

Aufgaben

  • Verantwortlich für Aktivitäten in der DACH-Region.
  • Teilnahme an wissenschaftlichen Tagungen zur Einbindung von KOLs.
  • Entwicklung und Pflege eines breiten Netzwerkes von Kontakten.

This position is part of the Cepheid’s Infectious Disease Medical and Scientific Affairs group and will be located remotely in Germany.

  • As Director Medical Affairs (Germany), you will be responsible for activities in the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland).
  • You will have the opportunity to:
  • Participate in scientific meetings to engage Senior KOLs, healthcare providers and customers.
  • Demonstrate expertise in infectious disease, clinical microbiology, and related disciplines.
  • Serve as a resource to the medical/scientific community including clinicians, laboratory personnel, pharmacists, and researchers.
  • Develop and maintain understanding of the global health environment relevant to diagnostics.
  • Establish and maintain a broad network of contacts within relevant stakeholder communities.
  • Engage with researchers on independent studies to generate new evidence and expand Cepheid’s footprint.
  • Work independently with guidance on complex problems.
  • Gain expertise in molecular diagnostics applications.
  • Maintain knowledge of scientific literature, clinical guidelines, and healthcare trends.
  • Identify research gaps, support clinical trials, and collaborate with marketing on product development.
  • Communicate insights about unmet clinical needs and provide scientific expertise on product design and implementation.
  • The essential requirements include:
  • Medical Degree (MD) with specialization in infectious diseases, microbiology, or infection prevention with 8 years of related experience. Other clinical fields with sufficient infectious disease familiarity will be considered.
  • Strong scientific writing, publication record, and excellent communication skills, including international speaking experience.
  • Proven ability to present complex information clearly to diverse audiences, with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Fluency in German, excellent English skills.
  • Ability to travel (up to 60%).
  • Preferred additional experience in:
  • 3 years in Medical and Scientific Affairs.
  • Experience in diagnostics studies in Germany.
  • Clinical trials management, biostatistics, regulatory familiarity.
