Your Tasks

  • You are an integral part of our global Loan Sales team with a focus on investor relationships with Banks & NBFIs in the DACH region. By engaging in and documenting dialogue regarding different loan-based products and distribution formats, you are the driving force behind our success.
  • Across all core loan sales activities – such as transforming primary deals, secondary loans and structured distribution opportunities into successful transactions – you support investors at every step, from obtaining credit approval and providing all necessary information to monitoring the progress of the sales process.
  • Thanks to your expertise, you have a keen understanding of investor needs and appetite. As part of the origination process, you contribute to loan distribution and asset pricing by providing market insights and intelligence, promoting the Capital Velocity growth mindset and maximizing loan distribution.
  • You actively participate in investor, client, market and industry events to stay ahead of the latest trends and pro-actively share ideas as well as insights while ensuring close collaboration with the local FI Sector Coverage and the FM FI Sales team to expand ING’s share of wallet.
  • Throughout all this, your keen attention to detail ensures consistent data quality. Diligently, you ensure that all investors comply with ING’s risk and KYC guidelines and facilitate reporting and data sharing to keep all internal stakeholders and senior management up to date.

Your Profile

  • Master’s degree in finance, economics or a similar qualification
  • Extensive professional experience in loan markets with an established portfolio of investor relationships (banks and NBFIs)
  • Strong relationship-building skills, combined with commercial / credit expertise and deep understanding of loan products and legal documentation
  • Ability to lead, manage and coordinate deal flows with investors across all stages of both primary and secondary loan markets
  • Broad sector expertise and knowledge across corporates, trade & commodity finance, and project finance, ideally with knowledge of SSD products and the placement process

  • Highly motivated with a global distribution mindset, strong stakeholder management skills and can-do attitude
  • Team player with the ability to serve as an inclusive leadership role model for peers and junior colleagues
  • Ability to multitask under time pressure while maintaining discipline and attention to detail
  • Open to cultural diversity in an international environment
  • Fluent German and English, both written and spoken

We offer many benefits

  • Company pension plan, capital-building offers, free Deutschlandticket & bicycle leasing, company restaurant
  • Hybrid working: In addition to working in the office, you can also work remotely – within operational, regulatory and legal requirements.
  • Individualized work schedule models, sabbatical, subsidization of nursing & childcare costs
  • Personal budget for continuing education and development as well as health; plus, a personal budget to set up your mobile working space
