Job Description:
This role will report to the Senior Director and Head of CME IE and is an integral part of the Front End and site operations management at Infineon. In your new role, you will:
- Achieve ambitious targets regarding manufacturing productivity by driving holistic site-projects focused on output and cost improvement.
- Drive cross-site alignment on Industrial Engineering methodologies.
- Be responsible for productivity for the FE site with tactical and strategic focus on Economy of Scale (EoS) and speed.
- Operationalize lean-mindset and operating curve management (OCM).
- Develop standards, identify best practices, and deploy Industrial Engineering methodologies at the site.
- Lead a local team of experts (< 10 FTEs).
- Implement and promote digital tools to create value from data.
- Partner with stakeholders like Production, Operational Planning & Controlling, Digital Manufacturing, and others to support systematic enhancements and benchmarking across sites to drive efficiency.
You are experienced in coaching others in structured problem solving and critical thinking. With an analytical, flexible, and entrepreneurial mindset, you drive sustainable change. Your strengths include clear communication across organizations and hierarchies, from engineers to senior management. You leverage your leadership and people management skills to guide your teams to success.
You are best equipped if you have:
- Masters degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Semiconductor Engineering, or a related field.
- 8+ years experience in semiconductor operations management: manufacturing, production, operational excellence.
- Experience in lean six sigma, operational performance improvements, project management, business process improvements, factory physics/OCM, and digitalization.
- People and stakeholder management skills.
- Cultural experience in Europe, Asia, and North America.
