- Accountable for monitoring and demonstrating opportunities in enhancing revenue through new volume, programmatic service line growth (new procedures), cost containment (inventory and cost per case reduction), loss/waste control, enhancing resource utilization (labor/equipment/materials) or improving policy.
- Accountable for preparation and monitoring of operating and capital budgets and achieving budgetary success on an annual basis.
- Establishes and ensures that the overall objectives relating to the Carle Experience are achieved.
- Provides leadership, vision, and management to assigned department(s).
- Sets departmental strategic direction and goals and develops appropriate tactical plans to meet them
Certifications:
Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) or
Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT)
Education:
Bachelor's Degree: Health Information Management or
Master's Degree: Health Information Management or Health Informatics or MBA
Work Experience:
Health Information Leadership - 5 years (Director level or above)
