Your Mission

As the the Director of Global Corporate Communications, your mission is to launch Bitpanda’s brand further into the stratosphere of financial innovation. We\'ll need your superpowers to shape and manage our global commercial reputation, showcasing to the world that we’re truly revolutionising the future of finance through disruptive technology.

But wait, there\'s more! You\'ll oversee not one, not two, but multiple functions — from PR to corporate communications. Together with an incredible team of fellow Pandas, the goal is to share our important news and stories, amplify our voice, and rock the fintech world like never before.

What you’ll do

• Build, own and implement Bitpanda’s global communications strategy across PR, corporate communications
• Develop, lead and mentor the global communications team – both from in-office and distributed across our key markets;
• Create and implement impactful communication plans and initiatives, and report performance to on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis, highlighting opportunities or trends for continuous improvement (because we can always keep getting better)
• Support multiple executives with all communication needs, including executive key messages and talking points, presentations, attendance at events, speaking arrangements, etc.;
• Find, tell, and share great stories — for the long run but also for the “now” because the news and innovation never waits. Identify new communication angles and contribute innovative ideas on reaching our users through earned media and multiple communication channels;

Who you are

• 7+ years experience and a strong track record of excellence in the field of corporate communications and public relations (social media experience is a plus) in a fast-paced B2C (fin)tech or trading company;
• Experience in building and leading effective and results-oriented communications teams at scale across various regions and markets;
• Exquisite copywriting, editing, presentation, and public speaking skills. Thoughtful, collaborative leadership with strong communication and relationship skills and the ability to influence others
• Fast-paced, resilient and open to change in a rapidly growing global business that requires creativity, fast learning and out of the box thinking. The Ability to think strategically across the short, medium and long term, while obsessing over the details
• Full professional proficiency (both written and verbal) in English is required. German language proficiency is an advantage.
