Tasks

1. Management of the Finance & Accounting team in Germany to support the globally operating entities effectively.
2. Ensuring service quality, process efficiency, compliance, and alignment with corporate financial policies and deadlines.
3. Ensuring timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing (local GAAP and IFRS).
4. Serving as a strategic partner for the management team to develop the business with a long-term perspective.
5. Supporting the preparation and management of the annual budgets.
6. Active involvement in the acquisition of potential additional companies and their subsequent integration.

Profile

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field; Master’s or MBA preferred.
• 8-10+ years of progressive experience in finance and accounting, including team leadership.
• Experience in an industrial company or in a leading auditing or consulting firm (e.g., E&Y, Deloitte, PWC, KPMG).
• Strong knowledge of international accounting standards (IFRS, etc.).
• Experience working with multinational teams or in a global matrix organization.
• Good understanding of the business of an industrial company in product/component areas.
• Business acumen and excellent problem-solving skills.
• Location in the Greater Ulm area / Bodensee region or willingness to relocate.
