Your new Role
  • Oversee the color topic within the team, enhancing the visual quality and overall consistency of video/photo content to ensure it meets EU broadcast and platform standards
  • Maintain brand colors and visual identity across all campaigns, including the creation of custom visual looks/LUTs on a per-brand basis to allow for efficient, high-volume delivery of creative content
  • Own the color pipeline, designing workflows that deliver the best possible technical and creative finishing, allowing editors and motion designers to focus on their core responsibilities
  • Work closely with the creative and marketing teams to align visual content with broader marketing strategies
  • Color grade dailies in collaboration with a DOP by creating looks for on-set use, if applicable, directly in camera or via a DIT workstation
Your Skills
  • Educational Background and Experience:
    • Ideally, a completed qualification or degree in video post-production, photography, or a related field
    • Proven skills as a Colorist with a strong portfolio showcasing your work
    • Prior experience in marketing, branding, or PR is a plus
  • Technical Skills:
    • A deep understanding of video post-production tools and techniques with advanced proficiency in multiple video/photo editing software suites, particularly Davinci Resolve, Premiere Pro, Adobe Photoshop, and Lightroom, is required.
    • Training in color theory, color science, camera systems, broadcast compliance + signal constraints, optics/filters, digital recording technologies (compression, sampling, codecs, file containers), display technologies + calibration, color management systems, Online/Offline workflows, noise/grain management, image framing and re-framing (pan+scan), etc.
    • LUT Creation and Look Development
    • Understanding of current (and upcoming) AI-assisted grading tools
  • Creative and Organizational Skills:
    • A keen eye for detail and a strong sense of aesthetics
    • Ability to conceptualize (in coordination with our creative team) and execute creative ideas that align with brand guidelines
    • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
    • Experience with project management tools such as Asana is a plus
  • Personal Attributes:
    • Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders
    • A proactive, structured, and efficient work style with the ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment
    • High willingness to learn and grow within the role
  • Language and Travel Requirements:
    • Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required, German skills are nice to have
