What awaits you at Mynaric

• Ability to safely operate single point diamond turning CNC machines
• Ability to read technical drawings and basic exposure to Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
• Clean and visually inspect diamond-turned components; perform preliminary inspection using metrology equipment (e.g., CMM, interferometers)
• Record inspection data, labor hours, and job information as required in manufacturing systems
• Maintain a clean and orderly work environment by following cleaning schedules and inventory control
• Maintain and assemble diamond tools in tool holders; define and procure process tooling as required
• Create, load, edit, and store diamond turning programs using CAM software
• Perform complex set-ups and operate machines under minimal supervision with guidance from engineering or area supervisor

What you bring with you

• 3+ years of industry experience with a technical degree or apprenticeship
• Experience with spherical optics, aspheres, and optical testing
• Experience with SPDT manufacturing equipment such as Moore Nanotech, Precitech, etc. is advantageous
• Experience in optics manufacturing environments and troubleshooting complex processes
• Team player with excellent communication skills, careful, organized, and detail-oriented
• Ability to read technical drawings and documentation; CAD/CAM knowledge is a plus
• Strong computer skills (MS Word, Excel), with excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
• Good communication skills in English; German language skills are a plus
