Job Description

We are seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to join our SCAYLE Payment team. This team manages the entire payment lifecycle, from initial customer orders within the Checkout to processing refunds for returned items weeks later.

The team interacts with various internal and external stakeholders, including business units, tech teams, and multiple international payment providers. Our applications range from high-traffic API hubs to secure backend processing engines.

What will you do

1. Develop and maintain cloud security solutions, integrating best practices into company processes.
2. Manage infrastructure patching to minimize vulnerabilities.
3. Audit and secure Kubernetes and AWS environments, addressing misconfigurations and security risks.
4. Automate security controls in CI/CD pipelines and implement SAST/DAST testing.
5. Monitor Git repositories for credential leaks and enhance security monitoring.
6. Collaborate on security initiatives and participate in cybersecurity audits.
7. Stay informed on emerging threats and proactively improve security measures.

Who you are

1. At least 2 years of experience in DevOps or DevSecOps within IT Security.
2. Hands-on experience with AWS and knowledge of cloud security best practices.
3. Proficiency in Python, Golang, or Bash for automation and scripting.
4. Experience with Docker and Kubernetes, including securing containerized environments.
5. Knowledge of DAST and SAST methodologies.
6. Experience with Git repository security scanning.
7. Self-organized, with experience working in agile teams.
8. Fluent in English, both spoken and written.

Nice to have

1. Experience with Incident Response and Log Analysis.
2. Familiarity with Google Cloud.
