Qualifikationen

• Professional experience in DevOps, infrastructure or build engineering.

• Ability to investigate problems and own solutions responsibly.
• Good English; German is a plus.

About the job

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer – Unreal Engine / Gaming (f/d/m) to develop and maintain the infrastructure supporting our Unreal Engine 5 development. You will own DevOps topics across CI/CD, build infrastructure, version control, and automation, working closely with DevOps, Programming, and IT to ensure a reliable, secure, and efficient development environment.

Responsibilities

• Developing, maintaining and improving CI/CD pipelines, build infrastructure and development automation.
• Operating and maintaining Development services such as version control, build servers and build agents.
• Taking independent ownership of DevOps topics from requirements through implementation, operation and validation.
• Monitoring infrastructure and services, investigating failures and implementing appropriate solutions.
Improving the reliability, security, maintainability and recoverability of Development infrastructure.
• Automating recurring operational and development workflows where appropriate.
• Collabrating with Programming, IT and other stakeholders on infrastructure requirements and dependencies.
• Identifying technical or operational risks and escalating them appropriately when their impact exceeds your area of ownership.

Key Qualifications

• Professional experience in DevOps, infrastructure engineering, build engineering or a comparable role.
• Good understanding of CI/CD, infrastructure automation, version control and build systems.
• Experience administering Linux and/or Windows-based development infrastructure.
• Experience with scripting or automation using technologies such as Python, PowerShell, Bash or comparable tools.
• Ability to independently investigate technical problems and take ownership of solutions.
• Understanding of reliability, security, backup and recovery considerations for shared infrastructure.
• Very good English skills; German is a plus.
