SAP SE in Berlin is seeking an intermediate level DevOps Engineer to join the newly built Cloud Delivery Germany as part of SAP’s Sovereign Cloud Organization. With the buildout of new Sovereign Cloud regions, you will be taking part in laying the foundation towards a unified and competitive business in the regulated industry.

You will be responsible for production cloud operations of our multitenant solutions in Germany.

Qualifikationen

• Growing ability to work with independence on technical issues, combined with a collaborative mindset and willingness to work alongside experienced engineers across different time zones.
• Solid working knowledge of GitLab.
• Foundational hands-on experience with Terraform and Ansible.
• Good working knowledge of Linux, including SUSE.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and workflows.
• Familiarity with one or more of the following: Kubernetes, Helm, Python, BASH scripting.
• Intermediate experience with hyperscaler services, cloud computing concepts and databases.
• Developing debugging and troubleshooting skills with a genuine interest in solving technical problems.
• Ability to manage competing tasks and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• A willingness to work in a 24/7 environment with on-call duties and flexibility to work in shifts, ensuring consistent coverage and support.
• Commitment to maintaining daily office presence for efficient team collaboration. Available office locations are Berlin or St. Leon-Rot.
