Your mission
- Design, deploy, and evolve cloud infrastructure architectures with strong focus on operations
- Support and enable development teams through efficient CI/CD processes (GitHub Actions)
- Manage infrastructure-as-code with Pulumi
- Support the implementation of a authentication systems using Keycloak
- Automate vulnerability scanning and proactively implement mitigation strategies
- Design and implement monitoring systems to optimize platform performance and security
- Enhance and implement security best practices while ensuring excellent developer experience
- Stay current with best practices in cloud architecture, security, and compliance
Your profile
As a DevOps Engineer, you play a key role in bridging our software development and infrastructure operations, ensuring smooth and efficient cloud-based deployment and maintenance processes. You support and empower our development teams by creating robust infrastructure solutions and streamlining workflows through automation.
This full-time position is remote-first, with occasional collaborative sessions at our office near Munich. We would ask for at least 4 hours availability between 9am and 5pm CET.
Who You Are
- Experienced Software and Cloud Engineer: You bring proven expertise in cloud systems architecture, ideally on AWS. You're comfortable using infrastructure-as-code solutions (we use Pulumi with TypeScript) and CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions.
- Technical and Collaborative: You are familiar with technologies such as TypeScript, Docker, PostgreSQL, and ideally Elixir. You automate effectively, document clearly, and support development teams proactively.
- Security-Minded: You understand what makes systems secure and ensure robust, scalable, and secure cloud architectures.
- Self-Driven and Solution-Oriented: You thrive in an autonomous environment where you can make decisions, define processes, and solve complex challenges collaboratively with your team.
- Fluent Communicator: You are comfortable communicating technical topics in English; German language skills are a plus. You enjoy collaboration and pairing with cross-functional teams.
