DevOps Engineer (m/f/d) for Airbus, Manching

We are seeking a motivated DevOps Engineer to join our team working with Airbus Defence and Space in Manching, Germany. This role involves operating, maintaining, securing, and evolving the software deployment and IT infrastructure.

• Operate, maintain, and secure the IT infrastructure
• Configure and roll out IT infrastructure for internal development and end-user systems
• Support configuration management processes and ensure compliance with IT security guidelines
• Update development systems in line with the evolution of Mission Planning Systems
• Define processes for reliable deployment of new baselines
• Collaborate with development teams to improve system maintainability and operability

Your profile:

• Degree in Computer Science or a comparable qualification
• Over 5 years of experience in operating secure and reliable IT systems
• Experience working with software development teams and their processes
• Knowledge of Jira, Git, Bitbucket, or Nexus
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code in Windows environments (PowerShell, Active Directory, VMware, Ansible, etc.)
• German language skills are a plus
