Deutsche Bank Technology in Berlin is a global team of tech specialists focused on financial services innovation. Our Berlin location is our newest tech hub, committed to diversity and agile development of solutions for our clients worldwide.

The Trade Finance and Lending department relies heavily on IT platforms to serve global clients. We are currently updating our IT platform to enable new services and automate processes.

As a DevOps Engineer, you will contribute to developing our strategic lending platform, working on automation, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure management, and monitoring. We seek engineers with strong coding skills, self-motivation, and a collaborative, agile mindset.

Your key responsibilities

1. Design and implement automation solutions for deployment, testing, and delivery
2. Coordinate with development teams on production releases to ensure stability
3. Enhance production monitoring for observability and SLO tracking
4. Support cloud migration to GCP from on-premise infrastructure
5. Work with infrastructure teams on upgrades for servers, databases, and middleware

Your skills and experience

1. Several years of experience in deployment automation, monitoring, and SRE tooling
2. Strong understanding of SDLC tools like Bitbucket, Jira, Artifactory, TeamCity
3. Solid infrastructure background: servers, storage, networks, middleware, databases
4. Hands-on experience with GCP and cloud deployment
5. Excellent communication skills in English
