Job summary

Allgeier Public sucht einen DevOps Engineer (m/w/d) in Berlin mit Schwerpunkt auf dem Aufbau, der Weiterentwicklung und der Automatisierung einer containerbasierten Plattformlandschaft.

Sie arbeiten an hochverfügbaren Multi-Cluster-Umgebungen, planen Ressourcen, implementieren IaC-Lösungen mit Helm/Kustomize und arbeiten eng mit agilen Teams zusammen. Sehr gute Deutschkenntnisse sind erforderlich.

Qualifications

• Fundierte Kenntnisse in Kubernetes-Umgebungen und OpenShift
• Gute Linux-Administration und Automatisierungserfahrung
• Erfahrung mit Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC)

Responsibilities

• Design, Aufbau und Betrieb hochverfügbarer Multi-Cluster-Umgebungen basierend auf OpenShift 4 oder Kubernetes-Distributionen
• Planen, Administrieren und kontinuierlich Optimieren Kubernetes- und OpenShift-Ressourcen sowie der Netzwerkarchitektur
• Entwickeln und Implementieren von IaC-Lösungen mit Helm, Kustomize und Helmfile
• Designen, Bereitstellen und Betreiben moderner SaaS-Dienste und Plattformlösungen
• Mindestens 3 Jahre Berufserfahrung im Betrieb und der Weiterentwicklung von Kubernetes-Umgebungen
• Erfahrung mit IaC-Tools und Git-basiertem Versionieren
• Erfahrung mit agilem Development- und Operations-Modell (Scrum)
• Sehr gute Deutschkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift

Join Allgeier Public and help us shape Germany’s future! Become part of our team and start as a DevOps Engineer (m/f/d) at our Berlin location (50% remote). You will be responsible for building, further developing and automating a container-based platform landscape using Kubernetes and OpenShift.

• Design, build and operate highly available multi-cluster environments based on Red Hat OpenShift 4 or other Kubernetes distributions
• Plan, administer and continuously optimize Kubernetes and OpenShift resources and the underlying network architecture
• Develop and implement Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) solutions using Helm, Kustomize and Helmfile
• Design, provision and operate modern SaaS services and platform solutions
• At least 3 years of professional experience operating and further developing Kubernetes environments, ideally with Red Hat OpenShift
• In-depth experience designing and implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Helm, Kustomize and comparable technologies
• Very good knowledge of Linux administration and automation, as well as at least 3 years of experience in infrastructure automation, configuration management and Git-based version control
• Experience with agile development and operations models, preferably Scrum
• Very good written and spoken German
