The role focuses on operating Kubernetes platforms, enhancing CI/CD pipelines, and managing GitOps processes to ensure reliable, scalable platform services.

You will design end-to-end monitoring, establish backup procedures, and handle incident management while collaborating closely with the development team across Dev/Prod

Qualifications

• Several years of experience operating production Kubernetes environments.
• Strong observability knowledge (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki) and alerting practices.
• Experience with CI/CD and GitOps (Azure DevOps and ArgoCD or similar).

Responsibilities

• Operate Kubernetes platforms across Dev, Staging, Prod ensuring stability and scalability.
• Improve CI/CD pipelines and security scans in Azure DevOps.
• Manage GitOps deployment with ArgoCD and Kustomize, supporting releases and rollbacks.
• Design monitoring, logging, and alerting for platform infrastructure.
• Develop backup/restore procedures and perform regular tests.
• Own incident and problem management for the platform and maintain runbooks.

Задачи:

• You operate our Kubernetes platforms across all stages (Dev, Staging, Prod) and ensure stability, availability, and scalability
• You operate and improve our CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps, including build agents, container registry, and security scans
• You are responsible for the GitOps deployment process with ArgoCD and Kustomize and support releases, rollbacks, and changes in ongoing operations
• You build an end-to-end monitoring, logging, and alerting concept for the platform infrastructure, so that metrics and logs produce reliable, meaningful alerts
• You design and establish backup and restore procedures for the platforms and ensure through regular tests that they work in an emergency
• You take on incident and problem management for the platform, maintain runbooks and operational documentation, and are the point of contact for the development team on all operational matters

Требования:

• You have several years of experience operating production Kubernetes environments, preferably also Managed Kubernetes
• You have in-depth knowledge of observability, ideally with Prometheus, Grafana, and Loki, and know what good alerting looks like
• You have experience with CI/CD and GitOps, for example with Azure DevOps and ArgoCD or comparable tools Linux, containers, and networking fundamentals such as DNS, TLS, Ingress, and Load Balancing are part of your toolkit.
• You automate recurring tasks with Bash, Python, or PowerShell
• You use AI-powered tools such as Claude Code or Codex as a matter of course in your daily work
• You take responsibility for “your” platform and remain calm and structured during incidents
• You communicate clearly with developers, including when something should not go into production as planned
• You enjoy sharing your knowledge, document clearly, and actively connect with colleagues from other teams
