The extensive expansion of the grid cannot be achieved without providing IT infrastructure and networks. As part of an international IT infrastructure team, I can make a significant contribution. In my role as DevOps Engineer - On-Premise Infrastructure Automation, I independently drive knowledge transfer in the field of automation technologies.

Задачи:

• Further develop and standardize the GitOps-based infrastructure approach, and define and implement cross-functional automation standards, architectural principles, and a unified operating model
• Develop, operate, and continuously optimize central automation platforms and frameworks based on GitLab, Ansible, Automation Platform (AAP), Python, and Terraform in terms of security, scalability, stability, availability, and user-friendliness
• Advise, coach, and provide operational support to infrastructure domains as they introduce automated operating processes and develop playbooks, roles, modules, and automation solutions
• Integrate automation processes into existing IT service management and operating processes
• Evaluate new technologies, methods, and industry trends in infrastructure automation and platform engineering
• Further develop the automation strategy for virtualization, storage, operating systems, Active Directory, Citrix, and other infrastructure platforms
• Support the analysis and resolution of complex incidents within the automation platforms as part of 3rd-level support

Требования:

• Completed university degree or vocational training in computer science or a comparable field, and several years of professional experience in a comparable position, for example as a system engineer or system administrator
• Several years of experience automating complex enterprise infrastructures and building and operating central automation platforms
• In-depth knowledge of modern Infrastructure as Code, GitOps, and DevOps concepts, as well as practical experience with GitLab, Ansible, Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform (AAP), Python, and Terraform
• Good knowledge of several infrastructure domains such as VMware, Linux, Windows Server, Active Directory, Citrix, or NetApp
• Experience with API-based integrations and modern infrastructure frameworks
• Experience developing, standardizing, and documenting technical platforms and processes while taking security, compliance, and governance requirements into account
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Language skills: Very good German (B2/C1) and good English (B1)
