Channel Applications

Corporate Bank Technology is undertaking a multi-year technology refresh that includes revitalizing "Channel" applications for payment initiation. You will work on developing a global payment initiation platform with React-based micro frontends, backed by Java micro-services in a containerized environment, utilizing Kafka for event streaming and various datastores like PostgreSQL, Oracle, HBase, and MongoDB. You will collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to enhance the platform, focusing on automation and real-time payment capabilities.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and support applications and DevOps artifacts for rollout and maintenance
  • Apply best practices in software engineering
  • Build partnerships with product and management stakeholders
  • Troubleshoot infrastructure and deployment issues
  • Stay updated with new technology trends to provide industry-standard solutions
Your Skills and Experiences
  • Strong engineering and programming skills, preferably in Java and/or cloud solutions with NoSQL databases like MongoDB
  • Experience with tools like GitHub, GitHub Actions, Selenium, JUnit
  • Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform services and deployment patterns like blue-green, canary
  • Ability to work in virtual, cross-regional teams and understand diverse requirements
  • Scripting skills in Bash, Python, and automation tools like Terraform
  • Understanding of security practices such as access control and vulnerability management
