What you’ll do:

The BTP Security Engineering unit provides security tools and services for all cloud applications and platform services across SAP. You will be part of a research team that will build on the learnings of our existing key management services and start a new, cloud-native era. You will build the KMS 2.0 service from scratch, following a cloud-native mindset, running on top of Kubernetes (managed by SAP Gardener) on SAP Cloud.

What you bring:

  1. University degree in computer science, software engineering, or similar.
  2. Good development skills e.g., Golang (preferred), Node.js, or willingness to learn Golang.
  3. Comprehensive experience with Kubernetes and container technology.
  4. Experience working in agile software development processes (Scrum) as well as working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
  5. Fluency in English language skills, both written and verbal.
  6. Positive mindset, team player, humble, transparent, and highly adaptable.
  7. Curiosity and track record for quickly learning new technologies, concepts, and tools.
