We are looking to strengthen our team in Altenholz, Bremen, Halle (Saale), Hamburg, Hannover, Magdeburg, Potsdam as:

Your Responsibilities:

• Labeling and describing standards for the selection process of middleware and frameworks within containers (especially web servers, message brokers, frameworks like Spring Boot).
• Determining and characterizing the general handling of software in containers, including patch management and dealing with vulnerabilities.
• Establishing a meaningful catalog of container base images (e.g., with hardened and patched web servers).
• Creating and maintaining container base images in collaboration with service responsible persons.

Your Qualifications:

• Completed studies in (business) computer science or a related IT field, or comparable knowledge.
• Professional experience in software development and/or Linux server administration, including scripting.
• Practical experience in automation and containerization.
• Insights into data center operations and related topics are advantageous.
• Interest in open-source solutions and knowledge of agile methods.
• High communication skills in German.
• Confident handling of containerd, Kubernetes, GitLab, Artifactory, Grafana, Prometheus, Elastic, Kibana.
