We are looking for a (Senior) DevOps Engineer (all genders) who loves building top-notch SaaS products and creating infrastructure, tools, templates, and more that enable colleagues to ship value at unprecedented speed to customers. You will work on one of our core SaaS systems utilizing state-of-the-art technology.

Challenges:

1. Be part of a team to develop and deploy backend applications on AWS cloud architecture using Java and relevant technologies.
2. Define and manage cloud infrastructure as code (IaC), improve CI/CD pipelines, ensure system scalability and availability, build monitoring stacks, and automate build, configuration, and deployment orchestration scripts.
3. Utilize a broad toolset for DevOps/Infra, leveraging various AWS services.
4. Experience in SRE (Site Reliability Engineering) is desirable.
5. Leverage generative AI tools such as GitHub Copilot, Amazon CodeWhisperer, etc., to accelerate software delivery.
6. Improve speed, efficiency, and scalability of all systems.
7. Build and optimize CI and CD processes for automated operation and deployment.
8. Build monitoring and observability environments and coach engineers on observability practices; troubleshoot and manage all team environments.
9. Work with the engineering team and make architectural decisions.
10. Have knowledge of AWS Virtual Private Cloud (VPC), network protocols, and standards.

Your skills and experience

1. Bachelor's Degree in any STEM field or related discipline.
2. 3+ years building cloud-based/cloud-native architectures on AWS.
3. 1+ years development experience in Java, Python, Golang, or similar languages.
4. 3+ years experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like AWS CloudFormation, AWS CDK, Terraform; container orchestration with Docker, Kubernetes.
5. 2+ years experience setting up and maintaining CI/CD processes such as GitHub Actions, GitLab Pipelines, AWS CodeDeploy, CodePipeline, CodeBuild.
6. 2+ years experience with software architecture patterns: Monolithic, Microservices, REST API/SOAP, GraphQL, CDN, etc.
7. Understanding of networking protocols (TCP, UDP, etc.).
8. 3+ years experience with software delivery lifecycle workflows including version control, infrastructure as code, documentation, and code reviews.
9. Proactive and self-driven attitude.
10. Experience working on developer platform teams where engineers are customers is a plus.
11. Fluency in English, spoken and written.
