Job Description

As a member of a team providing services to EUMETSAT, you will have the following responsibility:

• Maintain cloud processing systems and related tools and data-streams on the Copernicus project.
• Maintain essential software documentation to keep it aligned with the code.
• Software development and support leading to:
• Correction of anomalies;
• Implementation of evolutions;
• Increase of performance;
• Delivery of software patches or releases;
• Support deployment and validation of corrected/updated IPFs in EUMETSAT operational ground segments.

Qualifications

You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience:

• Minimum Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or an equivalent discipline.
• Experience in software development with C/C++.
• Experience with database management and operations.
• Ability to handle data downloads from operational systems.
• Experience with Grafana for monitoring and visualization.
• Proficiency in using Docker.
• Experience with scripting: Python programming and Linux systems.
