Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Standardization Engineer with expertise in CloudBees and related DevOps tools to drive a critical standardization initiative across our clients software delivery pipeline. The role will focus on unifying practices, workflows, and tools within the organization, optimizing efficiency, scalability, and security through CloudBees and its associated technologies. This role will involve close collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure that best practices in continuous integration (CI) and continuous delivery (CD) are standardized and applied consistently across our development environments.

Key Responsibilities:

DevOps Standardization: Develop and implement a cohesive standardization strategy for DevOps processes, with a primary focus on CloudBees CI/CD and associated technologies (Jenkins, Git, Kubernetes, Docker, etc.).

CloudBees Expertise: Lead the integration, optimization, and scaling of CloudBees CI/CD pipelines, establishing best practices for development, testing, and deployment workflows.

Pipeline Optimization: Architect and optimize pipelines that automate application build, testing, and deployment processes, ensuring efficient resource utilization and adherence to standardized practices.

Toolchain Unification: Standardize and document DevOps toolchain usage, integrating CloudBees with tools such as Git, GitHub, Bitbucket, Jira, Artifactory, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, and others.

Governance & Compliance: Define policies and governance frameworks to ensure adherence to security, compliance, and auditing standards across the organization’s DevOps practices, leveraging CloudBees' governance capabilities.

Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams (development, QA, operations, security) to understand needs, identify areas for improvement, and align teams on standard CI/CD practices and tools.

Automation: Identify opportunities to automate manual processes using CloudBees automation capabilities, reducing lead time and eliminating repetitive tasks.

Monitoring & Maintenance: Set up monitoring and feedback mechanisms for CloudBees pipelines, ensuring systems are scalable, maintainable, and reliable.

Documentation & Training: Create comprehensive documentation for standardized DevOps processes and conduct training/workshops to enable adoption across development teams.
