Rocket Factory Augsburg (RFA) is seeking a Development Engineer - Valves (m/f/d) to join the Augsburg-based team. You will design fluidic components and valves, take concepts through detailed design, and support production, testing and integration in a fast-paced, international environment.

The role requires a degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering and 2+ years of valve design experience, with strong CAD skills and a proactive work style. Fluency in business English is expected.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or related discipline.
• 2+ years of professional experience in the design/development of valves.
• Student team experience and internships are considered a plus.
• Good CAD skills (Siemens NX or other).
• Self-starter with minimal input and strong initiative.
• Extremely proactive and always looking for the best next step.

Aufgaben

• Design various fluidic components and valves.
• Develop components from concept through detailed design and production support to testing and integration.
• Define and maintain requirements with a focus on system reliability.
• Create CAD models and manufacturing documentation of components and assemblies.

About the Team

We are looking for a motivated Development Engineer - Valves (m/f/d) at our home base in Augsburg. This is a rare opportunity allowing you to be involved in demanding development efforts that are supported by parallel test campaigns allowing us to close short-iteration development cycles at fast pace. You will work in a dedicated, dynamic and international environment that aims for excellence by creating high-performance engineering solutions while keeping production costs at an absolute minimum.

Your Tasks
