Job Description

AVL is one of the world's leading mobility technology companies specializing in development, simulation, and testing within the automotive industry and beyond. The company offers concepts, solutions, and methodologies in areas such as vehicle development and integration, e-mobility, automated and connected mobility (ADAS/AD), and software for a greener, safer, and better world of mobility.

Responsibilities:

1. Design of internal combustion engine parts within the scope of serial products.
2. Create 3D engine parts and assemblies using Creo CAD environment.
3. Check 3D assemblies for passability and construction in Creo CAD environment.
4. Manage 3D models and drawings in the ECA and Windchill database environment.
5. Manage, maintain, and control the bill of materials in the ECA database environment.

Qualifications:

• Enthusiasm for developing automotive powertrains (engine, gearbox).
• Willingness to learn new skills.
• Experience in designing automotive parts with CATIA and Creo.
• Proficient in English; German language skills are a plus.
• Experience with KVS, ECA, AVON, TI-Cockpit (VW Group).
• Experience with change management and development processes in the automotive industry is advantageous.
• Knowledge of industrial standards such as Automotive SPICE, Functional Safety, or Cyber Security is a plus.
