Tasks

• Optimisation and further development of semiconductor processes for MEMS;
• Improvement of individual processes in development with a focus on implementing new requirements and improving process quality and yield;
• Participation in the testing, development and introduction of new manufacturing processes and complex systems, taking into account new technologies and methods;
• Collaboration in the design and coordination as well as analysis and evaluation of tests to optimise new production processes in cooperation with internal and external departments;
• Development of measures for process flexibilisation and cost reduction, as well as planning and implementation support in the production area;
• Carrying out economic feasibility studies and cost comparisons for new processes, technologies and systems under the framework conditions of technical realisation and future requirements;
• Advising the specialist departments and supporting the procurement of systems. In addition, checking the function and technical implementation as well as rectifying defects;
• Design of an innovative digitalisation project together with production and development (in-house development of software frontend & backend, database);
• Definition and optimisation of data structure templates for the various domains in the semiconductor area in consultation with the domain managers;
• Improving the software with the help of UX together with the software programmers;
• Optimising the processes for integrating the data into the database and supporting employees in transferring the data from the various sources
• Supporting the project roll-out by training employees, communicating with production/development and documentation;
  
  

Requirements

• Completed university degree (Master's/Diploma/PhD) in physics, microsystems technology, electrical engineering or a comparable degree programme;
• In-depth knowledge and practical experience in the field of semiconductor technology and systems engineering; experience in statistical process control (SPC), data analysis and data processing; in the field of digitalisation of processes;
• Independent, structured, self-reliant, co-operative, solution- and goal-oriented way of working;
• Enthusiasm for innovation;
• Very good written and spoken German and English skills;
