Zusammenfassung

ZEISS Group in Oberkochen, Germany, is seeking an experienced PLC software engineer to develop and program PLC software for special-purpose and measurement machines. You will coordinate external development partners, assess delivered results, and advise on technical feasibility for projects.

You will integrate machines into higher-level control systems, design software interfaces and safety concepts, and provide support during integration and commissioning.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in electrical engineering, mechatronics, automation engineering or a comparable field.
• Several years of experience in development of control and automation technology using Siemens STEP 7 / TIA Portal.
• Experience in programming, commissioning, parameterization and diagnostics of drive systems (Siemens SINUMERIK / SIMOTION / SINAMICS).
• Expertise in Siemens HMI, OPC UA and safety systems.
• Experience in programming and commissioning B&R and/or Beckhoff control systems would be an advantage.
• Knowledge of Polarion, Enterprise Architect and Python is a plus.

Your Role

Your Profile

• Successfully completed degree in electrical engineering, mechatronics, automation engineering or a comparable field
• Several years of experience in the development of control and automation technology using Siemens STEP 7 / TIA Portal
• Experience in programming, commissioning, parameterization and diagnostics of drive systems (Siemens SINUMERIK / SIMOTION / SINAMICS)
• Expertise in Siemens HMI, OPC UA and safety systems
• Experience in programming and commissioning B&R and/or Beckhoff control systems would be an advantage
• Ideally, knowledge of Polarion, Enterprise Architect and Python
• Intercultural competence, strong teamwork skills and assertiveness
• Good written and spoken German and English
• Willingness to travel occasionally
