Position: Development Engineer

Location: Dresden, Germany

Tasks:

• Preparation, coordination and active support of experiments for technology optimisation in close cooperation with technology and test experts;
• Consideration of synergies with other experiments;
• Mapping of experiments in the production control system;
• Timely provision of recipes, programmes and plant preparations;
• Tracking and controlling the execution of experiments;
• Coordination of necessary engineering activities with the development engineers;
• Initiating and supporting the evaluation of test and measurement results by technical experts;
• Carrying out non-standardised analyses in the production line and fault analysis laboratory;
• Incorporating the experience gained into the design of business processes and mapping them in the experiment management system;
• Implementing findings for process improvement in sustainable changes to the production flow;
• Actively supporting the project teams in coordinating external trials (plant manufacturers, research institutes, foundry partners);
• Supporting release and dispatch processes for test and process wafers;
  

Requirements:

• Completed university degree (Bachelor) in engineering or natural sciences (physics, chemistry, materials science) or comparable training in a technical profession with at least 2 years of professional experience;
• Independent way of working;
• Careful documentation of results and procedures;
• Understanding of physical principles and interrelationships;
• Basic understanding of individual semiconductor processes and process integration;
• Relevant work experience in the semiconductor industry is an advantage;
• Good MS Office skills
