Our Digital Team partners with business units and clients to develop software and technical innovation. We collaborate with our development teams in science, mechanical and electrical engineering, physics, and geoscience to develop innovative software.
Partner with the best As Developer Scientific Geophysical Software (d/f/m) you will develop algorithms for processing electromagnetic measurements made while drilling and their integration into software for reservoir navigation and 3D mapping.
Work Experience
As a Developer Scientific Geophysical Software, you will be responsible for:

• Developing algorithms for processing electromagnetic measurements made while drilling
• Implementing algorithms in production software using object-oriented programming
• Testing algorithms using benchmarks and field data
• Collaborating with the software users for collection of feedback and improvement of the software
• Participating in paper and article preparation for the major professional societies' events (SPE, SPWLA, EAGE).
• Driving technical communication with customers and research institutes

Fuel your passion To be successful in this role you will:

• Have successfully completed your studies in Physics, Geophysics, Mathematics, or Computer Science
• Have experience in development of software using object-oriented programming (C++, C#, or similar programming environments)
• Have experience in development of computational algorithms using C++, Fortran, Python, C# or similar programming environments
• Have experience in the Oil and Gas industry and software development experience
• Have basic knowledge of electromagnetic measurement principles
• Have technical writing and presentation skills and deep affinity for technical problem solving
