As a Developer of Scientific Geophysical Software (d/f/m), you will develop algorithms for processing electromagnetic measurements made while drilling and their integration into software for reservoir navigation and 3D mapping.

Work Experience

As a Developer of Scientific Geophysical Software, you will be responsible for:

• Developing algorithms for processing electromagnetic measurements made while drilling
• Implementing algorithms in production software using object-oriented programming
• Testing algorithms using benchmarks and field data
• Collaborating with software users to collect feedback and improve software
• Participating in paper and article preparation for major professional societies’ events (SPE, SPWLA, EAGE)
• Driving technical communication with customers and research institutes

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role, you will:

• Have successfully completed studies in Physics, Geophysics, Mathematics, or Computer Science
• Have experience in software development using object-oriented programming (C++, C#, or similar environments)
• Have experience in developing computational algorithms using C++, Fortran, Python, C#, or similar environments
• Have experience in the Oil and Gas industry and software development
• Have basic knowledge of electromagnetic measurement principles
• Possess technical writing and presentation skills and a deep affinity for technical problem solving
