Are you passionate about ensuring the safety and effectiveness of medical devices? We’re looking for a talented Design Quality Engineer with a software focus to join our team and make a real difference in people’s lives!

What You’ll Do:

  • Drive Innovation: Oversee design control processes for on-market and in-development medical devices, ensuring they meet the highest safety and effectiveness standards.
  • Collaborate for Success: Work closely with software developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to bring innovative medical solutions to market.
  • Enhance Patient Safety: Apply your expertise in software/firmware, network functionality, and cybersecurity to protect patient data and device functionality.
  • Mitigate Risks: Participate in risk management, design verification/validation, and complaint evaluation to ensure our products are safe and reliable.
  • Ensure Excellence: Maintain compliance with quality system standards and ensure documentation accuracy, contributing to the overall quality and success of our products.

What We Need:

  • B.S. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Life Science, or related field (MS preferred).
  • 3+ years of experience in design control processes – as a developer or quality professional
  • Familiarity with tools like HP Quality Center, Siemens Teamcenter, and IBM DOORS.
  • Knowledge of FDA regulations, ISO guidelines, and IEC 62304 standards.
  • Fluent in English and good German speaking skills.
