Job summary

TOMASIC Engineering GmbH seeks a skilled mechanical engineer or mechatronics expert to design components, assemblies and complete special‑purpose machines, balancing functional requirements with manufacturing feasibility and cost efficiency.

The role includes integrating automation and mechatronic systems, supporting test runs, and creating production documentation with 3D models, drawings and BOMs. You will collaborate across control systems and assembly teams in a dynamic setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in design and development, preferably in special‑purpose machinery.
• Knowledge of tooling design and automation.
• Familiarity with electronic and electro‑pneumatic components.

Responsibilities

• Design components, assemblies and complete special‑purpose machines considering requirements, manufacturing possibilities and economic efficiency.
• Integration of automation solutions and mechatronic systems.
• Support of associated test runs in close coordination with the relevant department.
• Creation of production documentation with 3D models, drawings and bills of materials.
• Interdisciplinary collaboration with departments such as control systems and assembly.

• Experience with common CAD tools, ideally SolidWorks
• Team player, independent worker with technical understanding
