Your responsibilities include

• Mechanical configuration of satellites and payloads
• Development of mechanical designs for satellites and instrument structures
• Development and conception of GSE designs (ground support equipment)
• Development of lightweight structures and design concepts
• Development and documentation of mechanical designs considering function, material, and manufacturing constraints
• Creation of product definition drawings, parts lists, and manufacturing documentation

Your profile

• Successfully completed studies in aerospace engineering or mechanical engineering
• Knowledge of CATIA V5 and 3D experience is an advantage
• Knowledge of PLM systems is an advantage
• Familiarity with space-specific mechanical and thermal requirements and constraints
• Experience in designing and creating manufacturing documentation
• Experience with composite materials and structural design
• Experience in GSE design (Ground Support Equipment) is an advantage
• Fluent in German and English, with good communication skills
• Team-oriented with a high sense of responsibility, ability to work under pressure, and organizational skills
