Job Description

Responsibilities

1. Design of magnetic couplings and mechanical seals according to customer specifications, ensuring compliance with applicable guidelines and proper documentation.
2. Independent preparation of designs and assemblies for magnetic couplings and mechanical seals.
3. Technical clarification in collaboration with application engineering, sales, and customer contacts.
4. Preparation and review of design-related documents such as production drawings and parts lists.
5. Execution of drawing modifications independently.
6. Preparation and evaluation of design-related calculations.
7. Serve as contact person for product- or series-specific questions from production or suppliers.
8. Participate actively in the technical and organizational development of the IMSS area.
9. Support product management in engineering tasks.

Qualifications

1. Completed studies or technician/master craftsman qualification (f/m/d) in mechanical engineering or a comparable discipline.
2. Experience in designing/developing high-precision mechanical components.
3. Knowledge in sealing technology and pumps/agitaters is desirable.
4. Several years of professional experience in designing mechanical seals.
5. Experience with magnetic couplings/plain bearings is desirable.
6. Proficiency in 3D CAD, preferably SolidEdge / Teamcenter.
7. SAP knowledge.
8. Fluent in German and good command of English, both written and spoken.
9. High motivation and willingness to learn.
