Job Opening: Design Engineer in Elmenhorst, Germany

We are seeking a Design Engineer to join our team in Elmenhorst, Germany. Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Creating electric detail drawings.
  2. Implementing customer specifications.
  3. Developing mechanical views for products.
  4. Clarifying technical interfaces with customers and subcontractors.
  5. Ordering complex materials in collaboration with project purchasing.
  6. Ensuring compliance with technical specifications.
  7. Leading technical discussions with customers and suppliers.
  8. Participating in the creation of test regulations.
  9. Supporting functional tests and handovers.
  10. Assisting with internal and external documentation.
  11. Meeting deadlines and budgets.
  12. Reporting project status and issues to the team or line manager.

Qualifications include:

  • Training as a state-certified electric engineering technician or a certified Bachelor/Master electrician or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of electrical power distribution systems.
  • Experience with design tools like EPLAN P8 or similar.
  • Proactive, independent, and team-oriented working style.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Knowledge of classification requirements and industrial standards.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Fluent in German and English, both spoken and written.
  • Driving license and willingness to travel (~20%).

Some travel is required for customer meetings, with most held virtually.
