JOB OVERVIEW

The Deputy Portfolio Manager is a key member of the team, reporting directly to the Portfolio Manager. They are responsible for the strategic management and performance of a portfolio of projects and contracts, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and client satisfaction.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or Hospitality Management
• Experience in Project Management or a related field
• Proven experience in government contracts, defense industry, or a similar role
• Proven experience in portfolio or project management
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong leadership and negotiation abilities
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
• Proficiency in project management software
• Strong client relationship management skills

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage the portfolio of EUCOM projects, including operations and delivery of contracts at multiple locations in Germany, primarily military bases or facilities for the US Armed Forces or Contractors under German-US, Bundeswehr, and NATO agreements.
• Oversee planning, delivery, and evaluation of programs, activities, and commitments across the area.
• Implement organizational goals, objectives, strategic plans, policies, and procedures.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure project success.
• Support technical and administrative activities daily.
• Build and maintain client relationships.
• Manage invoices, payments, expenses, and budget reports for projects.
• Assist in project completion tasks.
