A leading company in certification and testing is seeking a management professional to develop business strategies and manage operations for the MHS unit in Korea. The successful candidate will lead a team, implement hiring and training strategies, and establish new service offerings, ensuring compliance with company guidelines.

Collect and analyze market/industry, competitor, and customer information.
Set long-term business objectives and formulate business strategy in collaboration with the Director MHS Asia to further exploit the market potential.
Implement business strategy to realize business objectives.
Shape hiring and training strategies for MHS Korea.
Coach employees to develop their potentials.
Establish onboarding plans and train new employees.
Develop and introduce new services and solutions to domestic and overseas customers in collaboration with MHS Business Unit management.
Analyze and recommend investment opportunities.
Ensure adherence to TÜV SÜD Guidelines and Procedures.
Perform any other duties assigned by superiors.
Requirements include at least a bachelor’s degree, majoring in a medical background, engineering, or equivalent.
Solid knowledge and expertise in MHS certification and testing business.
Knowledge about processes, standards, and regulations in MHS.
Self-motivated, resourceful, and energetic with a hands-on mentality.
Experience in a multi-national setup.
Capabilities in developing and executing strategies.
Ability to identify new opportunities and make decisions with limited information.
Strong verbal and written communication skills; fluent in English. Working knowledge of Korean is advantageous.
Strong analytical, organizational, creative thinking, and presentation skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build internal/external partnerships at different levels and demonstrate corporate professionalism.
MANAGEMENT KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Build team vision and engage all team members.
Plan, direct, supervise, and coordinate work activities of subordinates.
Manage team’s and subordinates’ performance.
Coach employees to develop their potentials.
Build organizational capabilities including infrastructure, expertise, etc.
