What you'll do

About the Role
WaveSix is looking for an Deployment Strategist to join our growing team. This role is perfect for someone who wants to turn AI ambitions into measurable business results and loves working hands-on. You'll be the bridge between our clients and our engineering team, keeping everyone aligned and leading the transformation from first idea to lasting impact.
You will be responsible for the full path from "where is the value?" to "it's showing up in the P&L": identifying the use cases that matter, backing them with clear business cases and making sure they get built, adopted and measured. As the client's day-to-day counterpart, you work closely with their teams and management. You don't just deliver what's asked for. You figure out what the client really needs and always think one step ahead.
What you will do:

• Find what's worth building.You'll sit down with client teams, walk through how they really work and uncover where AI can make the biggest difference.
• Put real numbers behind it. You'll build clear business cases, prioritise the best ideas into a roadmap and track whether the value actually shows up.
• Pick the right technology.You'll give clients honest, vendor-neutral advice on which AI platform fits, weighing data protection, security, integration and cost.
• Make it real.You'll turn ideas into pilots together with our product and engineering team, then help clients scale them with the right adoption, governance and ways of working.
• Be the person clients trust.You'll shape AI strategies that fit each client's culture and maturity, run the workshops that get everyone aligned and become their first point of contact.
• Grow what you've started.You'll spot new opportunities in your accounts and develop them with our senior team, from first idea to proposal.

What you bring

• Around 4-6 years in consulting or in a dynamic startup / scale-up in the digital, tech or innovation ecosystem, in a client-facing role
• Hands-on exposure to AI implementation and enough grasp of what LLM-based solutions can and cannot do today to judge feasibility, effort and platform fit realistically
• A track record of owning a workstream independently – you have carried delivery and client communication yourself, and you can hold a room with a client's management team
• Strong analytical skills and solid business-case modelling: you can build a business case in Excel and defend its assumptions in front of a sceptical client
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English and German, with experience creating high-quality deliverables for senior stakeholders
