JOIN OUR TEAM

As a Demand Planner at Westwing, you will join a collaborative team of Demand and Supply Planners, focusing on demand forecasting. Your role involves strengthening data-driven processes to support accurate planning and decision-making. You will analyze sales data, monitor forecast performance, and collaborate with Marketing, Sales, and Retail teams to align forecasts with business strategies. Your insights will influence campaign planning, stock ordering, and inventory management, enhancing forecast accuracy and supply chain efficiency. This position is unlimited and based in Munich.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

1. Manage forecasting logic and processes for new SKUs and those with limited sales history to ensure timely replenishment.
2. Prepare and review demand forecasts for Permanent Selection SKUs, ensuring data accuracy and readiness for analysis.
3. Validate baseline forecasts using historical data, trends, and statistical models.
4. Monitor forecast accuracy KPIs such as MAPE, Bias, and Forecast Error over replenishment lead times.
5. Track seasonal events and promotions, adjusting forecasts accordingly.
6. Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Commercial teams for demand insights.
7. Contribute to IBP and S&OP meetings, ensuring cross-functional alignment.
8. Work with management to align forecasts with strategic goals.
9. Identify forecast deviations at SKU level and suggest corrective actions.
10. Enhance demand planning workflows for better reliability and efficiency.

YOU COME WITH

• Degree in supply chain, business analytics, statistics, economics, industrial engineering, or related field.
• 3-5 years experience in demand planning or related areas.
• Understanding of forecasting principles and statistical techniques.
• Strong Excel skills; SQL knowledge is a plus.
• Experience with BI tools like Tableau or PowerBI.
• Data-driven mindset and strong communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Fluency in English.
